Milton Firefighters Battle House Fire Overnight; Firefighter Falls

CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Fire officials in Milton tell WSAZ.com a firefighter fell and hurt his ankle while fighting a fire in the 9600-block of Bryan Creek Road early Friday morning.

One person was inside the house when the fire started. They made it out safely. We’re told the house is a rental property

911 dispatchers said flames were showing when fire crews got to the scene.

Investigators are expected to be on the scene Friday, trying to figure out what caused the fire.

CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Milton fire crews are on the scene of a fully involved fire on Left Fork Barker Ridge Road near the intersection of Bryan Creek Road.

911 dispatchers say flames were showing when fire crews got to the scene.

There is no word on what may have started the fire.
