BURLINGTON, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Sheriff Deputies continue to look for two people who they say robbed the McDonald's near Burlington, Ohio Monday morning.
Lawrence County Sheriff Jeff Lawless says the suspects entered the restaurant through a back service door just before the restaurant opened at 5 a.m.
Sheriff Lawless says the suspects showed a black handgun and demanded money. They then left the store with an unknown amount of cash; heading east on foot.
There were no customers in the restaurant at the time of the robbery.
Detectives say they are following a number of leads. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office.
It is located along County Road 406.
The robbery happened sometime overnight and sheriff's deputies are investigating.
No word on whether anyone was hurt in the robbery, or what was stolen.
