Boil Water Advisory Lifted in Baboursville

BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A boil water advisory has been lifted after a water main break in Barboursville.

West Virginia American Water says the advisory was issued Tuesday for customers who lost water pressure or experienced a disruption in services.

Several water main breaks were reported in West Virginia Tuesday, including one on Farmdale Road, which caused the boil water advisory to be issued.

Results of water quality testing have confirmed that water quality meets drinking water standards and residents no longer need to boil their water.
