UPDATE: Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Parts of Barboursville

BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- West Virginia American Water has lifted a boil water advisory for several neighborhoods in the Barboursville area.

The advisory was for Country Club Dr. and West Country Club Dr. It was put in place due to a water main break.

BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A boil water advisory is in effect for Country Club Dr. and West Country Club Dr. in Barboursville after a water main break.

West Virginia American Water tells WSAZ.com the advisory will last for at least 24 hours once service is restored.

There are some customers without water, but the water company says the water main break should be repaired quickly.

HealthSouth Rehabilitation Center is affected by this water main break. The water company says it is working with them directly.
