City of Huntington Releases Paving List for This Year

HUNTINGTON -- The city of Huntington released its spring and fall 2014 paving list on Friday.

Altogether, the list represents about $1 million worth of paving projects. The city has $480,000 remaining in this fiscal year’s budget for paving and $1 million for Fiscal Year 2015, which begins July 1.

The remaining paving funds in next year’s budget will be applied toward the spring 2015 paving program.

Below is the complete paving list, broken down by City Council district:

District 1

Dundale Avenue (31st to Court streets)
Handley Road (Piedmont to Waverly roads)
Court Street (Hughes Street to Piedmont Road)

District 2

Madison Avenue (West 5th to West 8th streets)
3rd Street West (Washington to Adams avenues)
5th Street West (Madison to 7th avenues)
9th Street West (Washington to Adams avenues)
Virginia Avenue (West 13th to West 14th streets)
Alley between Washington and Adams avenues (1st Street to Aldi lot)

District 3

7th Avenue (1st to 5th streets)
11th Street (2 ½ Alley to 3rd Avenue)
2nd Avenue (17th to 19th streets)

District 4
