HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – A Huntington City Council committee is trying to come up with solutions to collect delinquent fees owed to the city.

Possible solutions announced Wednesday include combining bills or sending them out monthly rather than quarterly.

The committee also is looking at tougher ways to crack down if you don't pay -- like the possibility of placing a lien on your property if you don't pay on time.

The latest list show more than $7 million in debt from delinquent municipal and refuse fees.
