CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The slow westbound lane of Interstate 64 has since reopened after a crash Tuesday night involving a car that went over a guardrail.
Two people were hurt in the crash, which was said to be weather related.
The crash was reported about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, just west of the Merritts Creek exit (Exit 18) near Barboursville.
Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after their car went out of control and became lodged behind a piece of guardrail.
It happened about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday near the 17-mile marker.
Deputies say it appears the crash was weather related.
Both westbound lanes temporarily were closed as crews worked to remove the wreckage, which was expected to take a few minutes.
