UPDATE: Three Hurt in 16th Street Road Accident

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Three people were taken to hospital following an accident on 16h Street Road in Huntington.

The head-on crash happened near the Green Valley Volunteer Department just before 2 p.m.

Witnesses said the driver of the car heading north towards Huntington had been swerving before the crash

Sheriff Deputies say that car ended crossing the center line and hitting the southbound car.

Two people in that northbound car were taken to hospital. One person in the other car was hurt.

16th Street Road re-opened in the area of the crash about 2:45 p.m.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Emergency crews are on the scene a two-vehicle crash on 16h Street Road in Huntington.

The accident is near the Green Valley Volunteer Department. It was reported just before 2 p.m.

We’re told there are multiple injuries.

We have a crew headed to the scene.
