Cyber Safety Summit Tackles Bullying and More

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Parents and students are arming themselves with tools to stay safe online.

It was part of the second-annual Cyber Safety Summit at the St. Mary's Conference Center on Tuesday.

Directors say the sessions teach students about handling issues like sexting, cyberbullying and online predators. They say parents also learn about issues affecting them, including identity theft, scams and how to keep their children safe online.

Directors say more than 250 people participated in the summit.
