Detectives with the Special Investigations Bureau and the HPD SWAT team combined forces during the drug raid. It happened at a house in the 200 block of Oakland Avenue on Friday.

Police arrested Kenneth Walker, 39, of Detroit and charged him with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Six other people were detained for questioning.

Officers say they seized about 12 grams of heroin, 3 grams of marijuana, several prescription medications, a 40-caliber handgun and about $12,000 cash.
