$3,600 in Hats Stolen from Glenn's Sporting Goods

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Thousands of dollars worth of hats were stolen from a sporting goods store in Huntington.

Huntington Police say someone broke into Glenn's Sporting Goods in the 1000 block of 4th Avenue early Friday morning.

Police say the burglar broke the front window and stole more than 40 baseball hats.

The hats are worth $3,600.

Paul Robateau who is a manager at Glenn's spoke with WSAZ.com and said, "We've been in business for 40 plus years and we've had our share of broken windows, things of that nature." When we asked him if he was surprised when he found out what happened, Robateau said, "Absolutely. Downtown is a great place to be. It's safe and this is something that's just out of the ordinary."

No arrests have been made.
