Drug Investigation Leads to Two Arrests

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two people were arrested after members of the Huntington Police Department Special Emphasis Unit went to a residence in the 1400 Charleston Avenue to investigate numerous complaints of drug activity.

During a search, detectives say they recovered a distribution amount of heroin, crack cocaine and OxyContin.

Donald Cole, 43, who lived at the residence, was arrested for Possession with Intent to Deliver. Police say Cole is on parole for previous conviction.

Joshua Howard, 39 of Huntington, was arrested on outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants.

Another person was issued a citation for possession of a small amount of marijuana and released.

Several other people were detained at the scene and then released.
