Drunk Driver Arrested; Police Find Nearly $60,000 in Car

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - (WSAZ) -- Huntington Police arrested Dwight Green early Saturday morning for driving drunk. They say they found cocaine, heroine, and nearly $60,000 in cash inside the car.

He was arrested for driving drunk around 3a.m. Saturday morning on 5th Avenue in Huntington, and even admitted to taking six shots before driving.

When officers searched his car, they say they found the drugs and money hidden inside. Green was charged with the possession of a firearm by a felon, DUI, and possession with intent to deliver drugs.

This isn't the first time we've reported on Green. He has served federal prison time for drug trafficking, and was also named as a suspect in a murder in Huntington back in 2008.

Green was also one of the six people shot during the shooting at Northcott Court back in September. Because of the severity of what police found this morning, Green's bail was set at about a little more than $550,000 - cash only.
