Fire in Barboursville Deemed Suspicious

BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The cause of a fire that damaged several storage buildings in Barboursville is under investigation.

Firefighters say it started about 4 a.m. Friday in the 6700 block of Mud River Road, not far from Interstate 64 and the Merritt's Creek interchange.

Investigators described the fire to WSAZ.com as being suspicious, but the cause of the fire is not yet known.

A vacant trailer located near the storage buildings was not damaged.

No one was hurt.
