HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- What started out as a noise complaint at a residence in Huntington, ends with five people in jail on drug charges.
Police say they went to the apartment in Marcum Terrace about 2:30 Thursday morning to check out the complaint.
Once at the residence, officers say they observed the occupants cooking, cutting and drying crack cocaine in the kitchen area, according to the criminal complaint.
Police arrested Mark Long, 24, of Columbus, Ohio, Columbus Damron, 27, of Huntington, Kayla Damron, 22, of Huntington, Robert Laws, 19, of Columbus, Ohio and Kimberly Kipp, 19, of Huntington.
Each is charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. Long also faces a gun charge.
Besides the roughly 70 grams of crack cocaine, police also say they seized two guns, about $2000 in cash and other evidence.
All five people are being held in the Western Regional Jail.
