Heroin, Guns and Cash Found in Raid on Huntington Apartment

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- 44 bags of heroin and more than $38,000 in cash was seized during a raid on a Huntington apartment Thursday.

Members of the Huntington Violet Crime Drug Task Force arrested and charged David Walker, 35, of Detroit, with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and conspiracy possession with intent to deliver.

The raid happened at Walker's apartment n the 1300 block of 15th Street about 1:30 a.m..

According the criminal complaint, officers also seized several guns and numerous cell phones

They also said the investigation yielded information that linked Walker to several other people who were working with him in selling heroin out of the apartment.

Walker is being held in the Western Regional Jail. His bond was set at $200,000 cash.
