HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Finding new sources of cash was a key topic at Monday night’s Huntington City Council meeting as city leaders revise their annual budget.
Plans call for improvements to the storm water system, the Keith-Albee Theatre, downtown library and new safety equipment for the police and fire departments.
The measure now moves on to the state auditor's office for approval.
"If there's nothing wrong, we'll get an approval, and it will come back to the finance office,” Huntington Finance Director Deron Runyon said. “And then we'll make those changes within our existing budget."
