HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A Huntington man was sentenced Monday to federal prison for aiding and abetting the distribution of crack cocaine, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Jwan D. Brown, 29, of Huntington, received a sentence of 12 years and seven months.
Brown previously pleaded guilty in April. Brown admitted that on May 6, 2009, he distributed approximately 18 grams of crack cocaine to a known individual. That person who purchased the crack cocaine from Brown re-sold the crack cocaine to an informant working for the Huntington Violent Crimes and Drug Task Force.
