Intense Fire at Abandoned Home in Huntington

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Fire at an abandoned home in the 1500 block of Beech Street had several Huntington firefighters battling the intense blaze Friday night, Cabell County 911 dispatchers said.

Flames were coming out of every window and door when firefighters arrived, according to dispatch. The fire was reported about 7:15 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Marshall Avenue.

Because of the intensity of the fire, there was concern about exposure damage to an adjacent home.

There were no reports of injuries.

The cause of the fire was unknown Friday night.
