NEW INFO: Jim's Spaghetti Burglary Suspect Indicted in Connection with Several Burglaries

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The man police say burglarized Jim's Spaghetti last year has been indicted in connection with several other burglaries in Huntington.

According to court documents, Wesley Allen Barker is facing a 13-count indictment in connection with five burglaries.

Barker is being charged with four counts of breaking and entering, five counts of petit larceny, destruction of property, public intoxication, obstructing an officer and burglary.

According to court documents, back in January 2012, Barker busted the window of Jim's Spaghetti and stole the cash register, which only had $10 inside. Officers caught up with Barker a short time later and he was taken into custody.

In the indictment, Barker is also being charged in connection with a burglary at an apartment on May 16. According to the document, after breaking into the apartment, Barker stole a flat screen TV and an Xbox.

Barker is also being charged in connection with a burglary at Flapjacks Tenampa back in June. According to the indictment, Barker broke into the restaurant and stole a cash drawer containing $250.

According to the indictment, Barker is also facing breaking and entering and petit larceny charges in connection with a break in at Sam's Hotdog Stand. That incident happened back on June 12. According to the document, Barker broke into Sam's and walked away with their cash drawer.

On the same day in June, Hobie's Convenience Plus, on 31st Street in Huntington, was also broken into. According to the indictment, Barker is being charged in connection with breaking into the store and stealing their cash register. That drawer contained about $400.

When Barker was arrested after breaking into Jim's Spaghetti, he admitted to officers that he had a drug problem.

Barker will soon be arraigned on all counts of the indictment.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Huntington Police say they have arrested a man for breaking into a popular Huntington restaurant.

Officers tell WSAZ.com they got a call at about 11:30 p.m. Friday that Jim's Spaghetti had possibly been robbed.

Officers soon found Wesley Allen Barker walking down the street with a cash register full of money.

Barker was arrested and charged with burglary as well as transferring and receiving stolen property.

After he was arrested, officers say Barker admitted to having a drug problem.

Police say the burglary is similar to recent break-in's at other Fourth Avenue businesses earlier this week.
