Longtime Attorney Charlie Hatcher Dies

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Charlie Hatcher, a longtime Huntington attorney and former Cabell County prosecutor, has died.
He passed away Thursday night in Huntington.
Hatcher had 32 years experience in the courtroom, including 20 years as the prosecutor in Cabell County.
Legal colleagues say Hatcher will be missed.
"I not only considered him a close friend, but he was an excellent trial attorney," said Sean Hammers, an assistant prosecutor in Cabell County. "A lot of us looked to him for advice on several occasions and know that we would get advice from Mr. Hatcher at all times."
As of late Friday, funeral arrangements had not been released.
