HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man was injured in a shooting in downtown Huntington early Sunday morning.
It happened outside of a business on 4th Avenue at 3:40 a.m.
Police say Robert Henderson, 37, who has ties to Detroit, was shot several times, but none of the gunshot wounds were life threatening.
Police say it happened when a fight broke out between a group of guys standing outside of the business. One of the men pulled out a gun and started shooting.
Officers say Henderson was transported to a hospital for treatment, but would not cooperate with them. They say he even tried leaving the scene when police arrived.
Henderson refused to give police any information about the shooting and told them he would not cooperate in any way.
Officers found one handgun at the scene. No arrests were made, but witnesses gave police the description of the suspect as a 5'10" male with medium build wearing black clothing.
