HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) -- Marshall University is celebrating the opening of its School of Physical Therapy.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for Monday afternoon at the atrium inside the St. Mary's Medical Center for Education in Huntington.
The program's first 29 students began classes last month in pursuit of their Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees. The first class will graduate in May 2015.
Marshall President Stephen J. Kopp is among the scheduled speakers at the ceremony.
