Herd Goes Brighter Green

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) -- Marshall University has adopted kelly green as its official school color.
The Board of Governors voted unanimously Tuesday to adopt PANTONE Matching System (PMS) 356, referred by Thundering Herd fans as kelly green.
It's effective Jan. 1.
Marshall officials say there's little cost associated with the change.
Letterhead, business cards and other items will just be replaced as they need to be replenished.
