HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- If you're driving in Huntington near Marshall University you'll probably need to slow down as students haul refrigerators, lamps, stereos, and suitcases across the road.
Wednesday is move in day for freshman and they've got plenty of stuff.
Kristen Richards from Charleston, W.Va. says it took a small caravan of cars to bring all her things for school.
"This is all my stuff, all my essentials anyways; pictures of friends, my rain boots, bottles of water, hampers, printer, tv, Xbox especially, big gamer. I'm more excited than nervous... a little nervous but not too much," said Richards.
Move in started about 10 Wednesday morning and continues throughout the day.
