HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A Huntington man is behind bars after a standoff Wednesday morning.
It all started just after 11 a.m. when Police say Randy Lee Saunders, Jr. went into an apartment in the 2300 block of Adams Avenue and stole a TV.
According to the criminal complaint, Saunders, Jr. was seen leaving the apartment with the $500 flat-screen.
Police say they tried to stop him and he threw down the TV and ran to a home a few doors down the street.
The SWAT team was called and there was a short standoff before Saunders, Jr. was taken into custody.
He is charged with fleeing without a vehicle, burglary and petit larceny.
