HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) -- State health officials say no foul play is suspected in the death of a 24-year-old male patient at a state-run psychiatric hospital.
The Department of Health and Human Resources says the man was found unresponsive in his room Saturday at Mildred Mitchell-Bateman Hospital in Huntington. Efforts to resuscitate him failed.
DHHR spokesman John Law says the man had been a patient at the hospital for at least three years.
The man's identity wasn't immediately released. His body has been sent to the state medical examiner's office.
