According to a Cabell County dispatcher, the accident happened on the tracks in the area of 3rd Street West and 8th Avenue.

A Huntington Police Officer tells WSAZ.com that a man was sitting on the tracks drinking, tried to get out of the way -- but didn't move quick enough.

The man was struck on his side. He was transported to a local hospital.
