HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man caught red-handed breaking into a cell phone store told police he was looking for drug money.
Early Sunday morning, police received an alarm call for the AT&T on Route 60.
When they arrived, they found two power meters had been damaged and removed from the building. Also, the door was pried open.
The suspect, Thomas Paul Anderson, was still inside -- trying to exit through a back door.
Anderson came back into the store and tried to get out the front door, but was met by police who arrested him.
Officers say Anderson admitted to breaking into the store for drug money. He's charged with breaking and entering.
