WAYNE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Wayne County Schools are getting the word out about the bond measure that will go on the ballot in May.

On Tuesday night, parents, students and residents gathered at the Wonderdome in Kenova for a public information meeting.

If approved, the money would be used to build two new schools and renovate Wayne High School.

Officials say the goal of the meetings is to answer questions and make sure everyone understands how important the measure is to the future of education in the county.

If you could not make it to Tuesday's meeting, two more are scheduled.

The next one is set for 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, at Crum Middle School.

Another one is scheduled at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, at Prichard Elementary School.
