UPDATE 4/4/14 @ 10:05 p.m.
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The 5th Avenue bridge into Guyandotte has reopened Friday night after sagging power lines caused an AEP crew to be dispatched to the scene.
Huntington Fire Department crews at the scene earlier said the wind may have been responsible.
No one was hurt. That bridge carries eastbound traffic only.
The closure happened about 7:30 p.m. and was ongoing as crews awaited for an Appalachian Power crew to respond.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area. The bridge carries one-way eastbound traffic only.
Firefighters say it appears wind brought the lines down.
It is unknown how long the closure will last.
