HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A second person is now charged and under arrest in connection with a home invasion of an 80-year-old woman in Huntington.

Huntington Police have charged Justin Stahl, 19, of Huntington, with daytime burglary, burglary, assault and conspiracy to commit robbery. He was arrested early Monday on an unrelated misdemeanor larceny charge.

Detective Rob Stinnett tells the charges were the result of a plea deal by his co-defendant Dwayne Bowman.

Bowman, 18, of Huntington, was arrested several days following the reported home invasion.

Last week, Bowman pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery during a hearing in Cabell County Circuit Court. Stinnett says as part of the plea deal, Bowman named Stahl as his co-defendant and agreed to testify against Stahl if the case goes to trial. Bowman was originally charged with robbery and breaking and entering.

Police say the incident took place at a home on West 14th Street back in December. The 80-year-old victim told officers that two men wearing ski mask entered her home looking for money. She said that during the incident, one of the men held her face down on a couch -- partially suffocating her. The men took off without getting any cash -- only a cell phone. The woman, who is on oxygen, suffered bruises to her arms.

According to the criminal complaint, it was Stahl who held the woman down.

Bowman will be sentenced in September and faces 1 to 5 years in jail.

Stahl has a preliminary hearing next week.

He is being held in the Western Regional Jail.
