HUNTINTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – A couple suspects have been going on a spending spree with a stolen credit card, but thanks to security pictures, detectives are hopeful they're about to pay for their crime.
Detective Chester Maynard says earlier this month a woman's car was broken into on Beech Fork Road in Lavallette.
The lady's wallet was stolen, and since the theft, the Wayne County Sheriff's Department has been tracking the use of the victim's credit card.
Maynard says the two suspects were caught on security cameras at several businesses in Huntington, including the Route 60 Wal-Mart.
Maynard says they're not sure at this point whether or not these suspects may be connected to any other crimes.
He says the suspects were driving a silver SUV type of vehicle, but security video wasn't clear enough to show exactly what model it was.
If you have any information you're asked to call the Wayne County Sheriff's Department at 304-272-6333.
