LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A bail bondsman helps sheriff deputies in Lawrence County, Ohio bust a so-called shake and bake meth lab.
Sheriff Jeff Lawless says three people were arrested at the residence on County Road 124 where the lab was located.
Lawless says the bail bondsman went to the residence looking for Donald Workman, of South Point, who failed to show up in court earlier in the day. At the residence he noticed the active meth lab and called the Sheriff’s office.
Deputies went to the scene and arrested Workman. He was charged with manufacturing illegal drugs and two other charges.
Jan Bess, of Chesapeake, Ohio, and Jennifer Hinchman, of Huntington, were also arrested and charged with complicity to manufacture a controlled substance.
Sheriff Lawless says additional charges could be filed in the future.
