HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A St. Albans man that police say could be a drug runner, is behind bars.

Marcus Allen Johnson, 27, was found passed out at the wheel of a running vehicle in the 1600 block of 10th Avenue around 4 a.m. Monday.

Huntington Police say they found marijuana and cocaine in the vehicle. They also say Johnson had $363 in his pockets.

According to the criminal complaint, police said there was no device on him or in the car to smoke crack cocaine and the car was rented from Cleveland. They said with that, and the cash in his hand, they believe he was a drug runner. They also say that normally a crack cocaine abuser takes the drug as soon as they get it in their possession.

He is charged with possession with intent to deliver controlled substance.

Johnson is also charged with obstructing. Officers say when they tried to put him in the cruiser, he was verbally aggressive and refused to get in the car. He had to be physically forced into the car.
