CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Michael Clark is no longer the director of the Western Regional Jail.
That’s according to West Virginia Regional Jail Authority Executive Director Joe DeLong, who says he is not able to discuss personnel matters but confirms that Clark’s last day on the job was Monday, Feb. 4.
DeLong said he thanks Clark for his time and his service at the jail.
Ron Casto, who currently serves as the director of training at the Western Regional Jail, is filling in as the temporary director until a full-time replacement is found.
Clark worked as the director of the Western Regional Jail since November 2009.
