HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- West Virginia State Police say they seized heroin, crack, cocaine and $9,000 in cash at home in Huntington Monday night
According to the criminal complaint, troopers went to the home in the 2800-block of Hite Avenue to investigate a missing person that could be at the house.
After speaking to a homeowner and doing a quick tour of the house, troopers obtained a search warrant and seized the drugs and money.
Eight people were in the house during the search, all were taken to the State Police Detachment in Huntington for questioning.
Troopers later arrested three of the people.
Darry Debroka Clark, Jr., 33, of Detroit, Michigan, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, conspiracy to commit a felony, and giving false information to a member of the West Virginia State Police.
Monte Allen Dunn, 28, of Huntington, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, and conspiracy to commit a felony.
David Lee Zirkle, 33, of Huntington, arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
During questioning some of the people in the house said the drugs were coming from “Jay” who was later identified as Clark. The troopers were also told that “Jay” stayed in an upstairs bedroom where the cash and some of the drugs were found, according to the criminal complaint.
All three are being held in the Western Regional Jail.
