HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Three people are in jail following a drug raid at a home in Huntington.
The Huntington Violent Crimes and Drug Task Force says Phillip Osborne, 24, Stevonna Smith, 32 and Kathleen Young, 47, were all arrested Thursday evening.
Police say they executed a search warrant at a home in the 1500 block of Hal Greer Boulevard. A SWAT team was called out to assist with the raid.
Officers say they found about $8,000 worth of heroin and $1,175 cash inside the home.
Osborne was wanted on three counts of armed robbery stemming back to a home invasion earlier this year on Wilson Court. He was also wanted on a robbery charge for another incident.
In this case, he is charged with fleeing and obstructing. According to the criminal complaint, Osborne ran from police and hid in the woods. When he was found, police say he resisted arrest.
Smith, who is originally from Detroit, Michigan, is charged with possession of a controlled substance. Police say she had one oxyodone in her possession.
Young is charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. Police say when police identified themselves, she tried to shove something down her pants. Police say the baggie had 22 grams of heroin in it, with a street value of $8000.
The arrests were the result of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
