HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Huntington Police say they arrested to two men caught in the act of a home burglary.

It happened at a house in the 500-block of North Inwood Drive Tuesday afternoon.

Police at the scene told WSAZ.com that they caught Christopher Ray, 21, and Josiah Eddy, 25, both of Huntington, inside the house. They went to the house after neighbors reported seeing two men sneaking around the residence.

In the criminal compliant, officers say when they arrived at the house they saw one of the men coming out of a door in the glassed in pool area at the rear of the house. The suspect spotted the officers, and ran back inside the house, according to the complaint. At that point more police were called to the scene.

When police entered the house, they say the men were lying on the bedroom floor. They were arrested without incident. Both men are being charged with burglary.

"Neighbors have been watching and were vigilant,” Huntington Police Capt. Mike Albers said. “They tipped us off today that this was taking place. Daytime burglary is hard to catch sometimes, and with the neighbors’ help we caught these guys today."

Capt. Albers said the same car used by the two suspects on Tuesday was spotted near another burglary Monday.

Police believe the pair may be connected to other home break-ins around Huntington.

Both men are being held in the Western Regional Jail.
