Two-Vehicle Wreck Sends Girl to Hospital, Backs Up I-64 Traffic

CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A crash between an SUV and a minivan backed up traffic for about an hour early Monday evening on Interstate 64 near the 29th Street exit, Barboursville Police say.

The impact caused the minivan to hit a guardrail and flip a couple of times. Police say a young girl was sent to the hospital with head trauma.

The crash was reported about 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Five other people were hurt, but their injuries are not said to be serious.
