CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The minimum wage in West Virginia is one step closer to increasing.
The West Virginia House of Delegates overwhelmingly passed the measure Wednesday.
It now heads to the Senate.
If it passed there, minimum wage will increase to $8 in January 2015, and then it would increase again in January 2016 to $8.75.
