CEO at King's Daughters Medical Center Retires

ASHLAND, Ky. (WSAZ) - There’s a changing of the guard at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.

KDMC President Fred Jackson is retiring effective Friday after serving 17 years in that position.

KDMC Chief Operating Officer Kristie Whitlatch will move into the role of President and CEO.

Whitlatch began her career at KDMC in 1987 as a nurse and over the course of her career has moved into various leadership positions within the hospital. She became Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of KDMC in 2011.

Whitlatch is an Ashland, Ky. native and a graduate of Boyd County High School.
