PAINTSVILLE, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A church in Paintsville is stepping up security after experiencing the seventh break-in in a two-year period.
The pastor at Paintsville First Church of God says someone broke into the church early one morning last week by prying through a window.
A similar incident happened last spring. The pastor said he believes the same person is behind the last two break-ins. He is hoping that improving the security system will keep him out for good.
The suspect in the most recent break-in was not able to get away with anything.
No arrests have been made in the case.
