UPDATE: All Lanes of I-64 Re-open at Boyd County, Ky. Crash Scene

CANNONSBURG, Ky. (WSAZ) -- All lanes of Interstate 64 are back open Friday night after a crash earlier involving a truck that leaked contents believed to be mineral oil, Boyd County 911 dispatchers said.

As of 9:45 p.m. Friday, traffic had resumed to normal in the area.

The crash happened near the junction of I-64 and Old U.S. 60. Three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The accident was reported just before 6:30 p.m. Friday.

CANNONSBURG, Ky. (WSAZ) -- The slow eastbound lane of Interstate 64 near the Cannonsburg exit remains closed Friday evening after a traffic accident involving what is believed to be a mineral oil spill, Boyd County Sheriff's deputies tell a WSAZ.com crew at the scene.

The accident was reported just before 6:30 p.m. Friday near the junction of I-64 and Old U.S. 60.

Three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The substance is believed to be mineral oil with green dye in it. It originally was believed the substance might be a chemical, but that is not the case. Deputies say the substance is not considered hazardous.
