FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP/WSAZ) -- An engineering firm has announced plans to expand its operations in Boyd County in northeastern Kentucky.
EN Engineering says they will be expanding operations in Catlettsburg.
They will be building and moving into a new 24,000-square-foot facility sometime in the next year.
The company employs about 90 workers at the current Catlettsburg location. The expansion will gradually create about 80 jobs.
The company provides engineering expertise to industrial clients, including natural gas and oil pipeline infrastructure, gas distribution and petroleum refining.
The company says it is expanding its engineering capacity to better serve the tri-state region of Kentucky, West Virginia and Ohio.
EN Engineering operates 10 offices throughout the country with approximately 725 employees.
