ASHLAND, Ky. (WSAZ) – Sheriff’s Deputies say they found heroin inside a vehicle after stopping a driver for suspended driver's license.
The Boyd County Sheriff's Office says members of the Drug Unit saw 39-year-old Jodie D. Christian driving along Lexington Avenue in Ashland Wednesday night.
Deputies said they were familiar with Mr. Christian and knew he was driving without a valid driver's license and no insurance.
After pulling Christian over, the officers say they found a gram of heroin inside the car..
Christian was arrested and charged with operating on a suspended revoked operator's license, no insurance, and possession of heroin.
He is being held at the Boyd County Detention Center.
