UPDATE: Name Released in Fatal Dirt Bike Accident

GREENUP COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- The Greenup County Coroner has released the name of the teen who died in a dirt bike accident Tuesday afternoon.

Neil Wright tells WSAZ.com that 19-year-old Trevor Ray, of Bloomfield, Ky., was killed. The accident happened at the intersection of Whetstone Road and Route 3307 about 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The Greenup County Sheriff’s Office says Ray apparently lost control and crashed his bike. He died at the scene.

Ray was not wearing a helmet.

GREENUP COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A man died late Wednesday afternoon in a dirt bike accident at the intersection of Whetstone Road and Route 3307, Greenup County Sheriff's deputies say.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene after losing control and crashing the bike.

His name has not been released.

Route 3307 was closed at the time. The accident was reported about 5 p.m.
