UPDATE: Names Released in Floyd County Murder

FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A man has been charged with murder and wanton endangerment after a deadly shooting in Floyd County, Kentucky.

Kentucky State Police say the shooting happened about 3 p.m. Tuesday at an apartment complex on Kentucky Route 306 in Bypro.

Troopers say Tyler Shehan, 23, of Louisville, shot and killed Rodney Mullins, 43, of Melvin.

Shehan is being held in the Floyd County Jail.

Floyd County Coroner Greg Nelson says Mullins died from multiple gunshot wounds.

FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A man was shot to death Tuesday, and another man has been arrested in connection, Kentucky State Police say.

Troopers said it happened about 3 p.m. Tuesday in Bypro.

Floyd County Coroner Greg Nelson said the man who was shot was in his 40s. Nelson said that man died from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim's body will be taken to the state medical examiner's office in Frankfort for an autopsy.

KSP troopers worked until late Tuesday night collecting evidence, including at an apartment building.

As of late Tuesday night, no other information had been released.
