PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Kentucky State Police is stepping up their efforts to find a man wanted for a bank robbery and other crimes.

Troopers say Anthony Gillespie, 25, of Grethel, may be staying in the Branhams Creek area of Floyd County or in the Lexington area.

Gillespie is wanted on 2 counts of robbery, 1 count of kidnapping, 1 count of theft by unlawful taking, and 1 count of assault.

Last week a grand jury in Pike County indicted Gillespie and Claude Isaac, 35, of Hi Hat, for the November 13 robbery of the US Bank branch in Virgie, Ky.

Issac was arrested last Wednesday.

Gillespie is considered dangerous and should not be confronted by the public.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Kentucky State Police at 1-800-222-5555 or (606) 433-7711.
