UPDATE: Mentally Challenged Man from Ashland Found Okay

ASHLAND, Ky. (WSAZ) – Ashland Police say the man who walked away from a care facility in Ashland last Friday night was found overnight Monday.

John Moore, 24, who is mentally challenged, and suffers from impulsive and depressive orders, was found at 13th Street and the Maryland Parkway.

Police say Moore was not hurt. He was taken back to Artrips Care Facility.

ASHLAND, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A man who walked away from a care facility in Ashland remains missing after more than three days, Ashland Police say.

John Moore, 24, is mentally challenged, officers say. He suffers from impulsive and depressive orders.

Moore was last seen Friday evening at Artrips Care Facility. At the time, he was wearing a gray shirt with red writing and jean shorts.

Moore is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weights 185 pounds.

Police say Moore has the mental capacity of a 12- to 14-year old.

If you have information about his whereabouts, you are asked to all Ashland Police at 606-327-2020 or your local 911 agency.
